How MATCH Chicago Works

Starting February 2, 2015, interested Chicago-area day schools can start the MATCH application process by dowloading the application pdf files at the links below.

Note that the application consists of four separate documents, two to be completed by the school professional and two to be completed by the donor.  All four documents should be submitted by the day school professional as one pdf file. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Application components:

Section 1:  School application (to be completed by school professional)

Section 2:  Gift application (to be completed by school professional)

Section 3:  Donor application (to be completed by donor)

Section 4:  Donor eligibility statement or Foundation eligibility statement (to be completed by donor or authorized foundation representative)

Review of completed applications will begin February 16, 2015. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility on a rolling basis based on received date and grant notifications will be sent to the donor and school within 6-8 weeks from the date the completed application is submitted to MATCH.

Applications will be accepted starting February 2, 2015 until November 2, 2015. Gifts paid between February 2, 2015 and December 31, 2015 may be eligible for matching funds and schools and donors will be notified on a rolling basis until applications for the entire $400,000 are submitted and approved.

Approved MATCH gifts must be paid to the school by December 31, 2015. Matching funds will be distributed to schools by January 15, 2016 once documentation of payment to the school is submitted to and verified by MATCH. See How to Apply for more details.
